Hot.
Cheesy.
Napoli.

our story β†’ πŸ“– The Forno Family

Four generations.
One stone oven.

Forno 47 started in a noisy corner of Napoli, where Nonna Caravello kept one stone oven burning through three wars and four generations. We hauled that same flame to London — oak, beech, and stubbornness intact.

Every pizza is hand-stretched, slow-fermented 72 hours, and slung into a 900° oven for exactly 90 seconds. No shortcuts. No frozen anything. No apologies.

🎢 Late Night Vibes

More than dinner.

Long tables, vinyl on a turntable, a glass of Aglianico. Forno 47 was built for the slow hour after the plates are cleared and the band warms up.

Every Friday: a string trio plays from the loft above the oven, our sommelier hosts intimate four-course pizza pairings. Twelve seats. Going fast.

People are losing it.

The crust alone is worth the trip — a 900° whisper of char that gives way to something impossibly tender. The room hums. The wine sings. I have been ruined for all other pizza.

Forno 47 is what every neighbourhood pizzeria dreams of becoming. Unhurried, generous, and deeply Italian in a way that has nothing to do with checkered tablecloths.

I came for the Margherita and stayed for three hours. The pistachio mortadella made me forget my own name. Easily the best meal of the year — possibly the decade.
